WHEN IN ROME
by SARAH ADAMS
Pop star Amelia Rose, known as Rae Rose to her adoring fans, is inspired by her favorite Audrey Hepburn film, Roman Holiday, when she needs a break from her famous lifestyle. In the middle of the night, she drives to the closest Rome she can find.

Grumpy pie shop owner, Noah Walker, finds Amelia on his front lawn in her broken-down car. Despite his better judgment, he lets her stay in his guest room--but only until her car is fixed--then she's on her own.

Noah can't help but get close to the kindhearted, lonely pop star. He agrees to show Amelia all the charming small-town experiences she's been missing until she has to leave for tour.
Amelia can't resist falling for the cozy town and her grumpy tour guide, but even Audrey had to leave Rome eventually.

my review
I read The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams last year and fell in love with her cozy romance books. Nathan and Bree's story seemed impossible to top but somehow Sarah Adams delivered with When in Rome!
Amelia and Noah had the perfect grumpy x sunshine demeanor. She's a pop star loved by the world, he's a pie shop owner and rarely branches outside of his small town, Rome, Kentucky.
This book was like a warm hug!
I related to Amelia in more ways than just my love of Audrey Hepburn & Roman Holiday. Amelia needed a break from her pop star life and travels to the closest Rome to her. Only, it's not an Italian vacation destination but a small town in Kentucky.

The town of Rome Kentucky was straight from a feel good Hallmark movie that makes you want to jump into the book and live there! It has the charming local businesses, the nosey neighbors, and the Inn that is conveniently all booked when Amelia needs a room.

Is there anything better than a good forced proximity trope?
Reading about these two trying to live in the same space as one another for a week was hilarious, heart-warming, and created all the tension we know and love.

It's also the first book in a series! The When in Rome series will follow Noah's sisters and each book is filled with small town charm, romance that will have you smiling while reading, and a shared love of Audrey Hepburn between the FMCs.

If you are in need of a sweet, feel good romance book that will have you not wanting to put it down, this is the book for you!
